The research on the expression of Kv1.5mRNA in patients with atrial fibrillation

摘要 目的:通过对慢性心房颤动患者超速延迟振流性钾通道(Kv1.5)mRNA表达的研究探讨其表达与AERP的关系。方法:心脏标本取自慢性心房颤动患者和窦性心律患者的右心耳组织,用RT—PCR法分析Kv1.5的mRNA的表达变化。结果:慢性心房颤动患者的Kv1.5mRNA表达相对于窦性心律患者显著减少(P<0.01)。结论:钾离子通道Kv1.5mRNA的减少可能是对抗AERP的缩短而产生的结果。 Objective: Shortening of the atrial effective refractory period (AERP) plays a major role in the maintenance of atrial fibrillation and the shortening of AERP is related to the gene expression of ion channels. Kv 1.5 is one of the most important potassium channels expressed on the surface of the human atrium, this topic will investigate the relation between the expression of Kv 1.5mRNA and AERP. Method: Right atrial appendages were obtained from patients under surgery, including the patients with chronic atrial fibrillation and sinus rhythm. Expression of Kv 1.5 mRNA was analyzed by RT-PCR. Result: The expression of Kv 1.5 mRNA in patients with atrial fibrillation decreased significantly (P< 0.01).Conclusion: The decreasing of the expression of Kv 1.5 mRNA might be the result of counteracting the shortening of AERP.
