The pressure sensitivity of interferometer was increased by covering one arm of the all-fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer with silicon fiber. The shifting of a certain wavelength and change of spectrum peak value were observed through OSA and optical multimerter as using broadband light source and narrowband tunable laser respectively. It is successful in measuring the mini-pressure and increasing the accuracy of measurement. The results show that the sensitivity of pressure sensing has been increased by 2.15 times than that of bare fiber, when the pressure is changed 1. 03× 10^-4 MPa, the wavelength shifts 0. 02 nm, the measured pressure sensitivity is 1.96× 10^-4 nm/Pa.
