Study on the thermo-oxidative stability of nylon 12

摘要 采用热失重分析、白度测定、特性粘度、红外光谱(IR)等方法对尼龙12的热氧稳定性进行了研究。结果表明尼龙12粉末在170℃下易发生热氧老化,其白度和特性粘度均随氧化时间的增加而降低,其中白度随氧化时间的变化更敏感,可更好的反映尼龙12的热氧化程度,降低氧浓度可有效的减缓尼龙12的热氧老化。 The thermo-oxidative stability of nylon 12 is investigated by infrared spectrum (IR), and by measuring whiteness and inherent viscosity of oxidized nylon 12. The results show that nylon 12 is liable to thermo-oxidative decomposition at 170 ℃. The whiteness and the inherent viscosity of nylon 12 decrease with increase of oxidation time. The whiteness is much sensitive to oxidation, and it is a good specification to characterize the degree of oxidation of nylon 12. Reducing oxygen concentrate is an effective method to inhibit oxidation.
