The UPLC-MS/MS （Ultra performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry） method for detecting pyra- clostrobine in banana was established. The sample was extracted from banana with acetonitrile and clean-up using a strata/NH2 SPE column. Then the sample was analyzed by UPLC-MS/MS.The detection limit for pyraclostrobine was 4×10^-13 g, and the limit of quantitation was 0.2 μg/kg. The RSDs in fruit were in the range of 2.0%-2.8%, and recoveries were in the ranges of 83%-92% with 0.01-0.10mg/kg additive amount. Similarly,the RSDs found in flesh were in the range of 1.5%-2.2%, and recovery were in the ranges of 85%-98%. The method is sensitive,accurate,and rapid for detecting pyraclostrobine in banana.
