A questionnaire survey conducted in Wuhan, Guangzhou, Hang- zhou and Ningbo, four cities in Mid-eastern China, shows that in the provinces and municipalities of the Northwest of China, the key senders of Muslim migrant population, the local governments provide loan support, carry out technical training and set up dispatched organizations for migrant Muslims to achieve the goal of economic development and poverty elimination. And the recipient cities offer convenience and help in terms of employment, cultural life and children＇s schooling to guarantee that Muslim migrant population can live in, adapt to and integrate into the city society. However, as for the system integration, the mi- grant Muslims in recipient cities are faced with various system restrictions such as difficulties for children schooling, low participating rate of social insurance, poor city administration and lack of cultural life. Therefore, to improve the level of integration for Muslim migrant population, efforts should be made to solve the problems of children schooling difficulties, to protect their legal rights, to offer good education and multiple technical tranings, to enhance law popularization and to promote mutual adaptation of city administration and migrant population man- agement.
