东海冷涡对黑潮热输运年代际跃变的响应 预览

Responses of the East China Sea Cold Eddy to inter-decadal climatic jump of Kuroshio heat transport around 1976/1977

摘要 基于SODA、CORA和CORE等高分辨率海洋和大气再分析资料,分析了1976/1977年前后黑潮经向热输运的年代际跃变特征,并应用区域海洋模式(ROMS),研究了东海冷涡对黑潮经向热输运年代际跃变的响应.分析与数值实验结果表明:在1976/1977年前后,黑潮经向热输运有明显的跃变,冬、夏季黑潮的热输运分别增加了约8.0%和8.5%;1976/1977年黑潮经向热输运发生跃变后,冬季东海冷涡则没有明显变化,而夏季东海冷涡则明显增强,除了冷涡中心的温度显著降低外,气旋式环流也显著加强.此外,分析还表明:冬季,黑潮经向热输运跃变并未引起黄海暖流的明显变化,而冬季风导致的海水强烈混合冷却作用可能抵消了黑潮经向热输运的影响,这使得东海冷涡的变化并不明显;夏季,受黑潮经向热输运跃变的影响,台湾暖流显著增强,从而引起东海冷涡区域气旋式环流的加强和冷涡中心温度的降低,并且,在其裹挟作用下,东海冷涡向北移动. In this paper,based on the Simple Ocean Data Assimilation( SODA),reanalysis data inter-decadal climatic jump characteristics of heat transport and temperature anomalies of Kuroshio in 24° N section in winter and summer around 1976 /1977 are analyzed,and the numerical experiments are then conducted to explore the influences of the Kuroshio inter-decadal climatic jump on East China Sea Cold Eddy( ECSCE). The ocean model used in this study is the Regional Ocean Model System( ROMS). The model is initialized with climatological temperature and salinity from the China Ocean Re-Analysis( CORA) data. Climatological wind obtained from the CORE data is used to force the model respectively to simulate the ECSCE responses to the change of Kuroshio heat transport climatic jump. The momentum and fresh water imported by Changjiang River is considered as well. The result shows that after the climate jump the heat transported to the East China Sea and its adjacent seas( ECS) by the Kuroshio is enhanced by 8. 0% and 8. 5% in winter and summer,respectively. The numerical experiments show that after the longitudinal heat transport by the climate jump of the Kuroshio around 1976 /1977,the cold eddy is enhanced in summer and it changes little in winter. In summer the anticyclone of the cold eddy and the cyclonic circulation strengthens while the temperature reduces markedly in the center of the cold eddy. It shows that in winter the longitudinal heat transport by the climate jump of the Kushiro has little effect on the Yellow Sea warm current while a strong mixing caused by winter monsoon may weaken the influence of longitudinal heat transported,which causes insignificant changes of ECSCE. In summer,impacted by the longitudinal heat transport of Kuroshio,the Taiwan warm current is enhanced,which enhances the cyclonic circulation and drops the temperature in the cold eddy areas. At the same time carried by the current,the ECSCE moves northward.
