Objective： To observe the clinical curative effect of combined therapy of traditional Chinese and Western medicine on angina after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty. Methods： Ninety patients with angina after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty were randomly divided into the control group and the experiment group,with 45 cases in each group. The ones in the control group were given routine Western medicine treatment,while the ones in the experiment group were added Dan Lou granules（ DLG） based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups regarded 2 weeks as one course,then after 2 courses＇ treatment,the clinical curative effects,the attack frequency and duration of angina before and after the treatment,ECG ST-T changes and changes of serum cytokines of the two groups were observed. Results： The effective rate of the experiment group was95. 5%,while that of the control group was 73. 2%; And the difference between them had statistical significance（ P 〈0. 05）.Conclusion： Routine Western medicine in combination with DLG can reduce the attack frequency and duration of angina,and effectively improve the patients＇ clinical symptoms.
