Xinjiang Zhundong coal is a typical high-sodium coal.It is easy for the boiler to burn out the slag the high-temperature corrosion of the water wall and the flue contamination,which is not conducive to the safe operation of the boiler.In order to solve this potential danger situation,according to the coal quality and the existence of sodium in the form of coal,using cation exchange resin as a catalyst method of Zhundong coal desalination quality.Under different experimental conditions,the washing process was carried out to determine the appropriate washing temperature and time.The ash melting characteristics and microstructure of coal samples were analyzed by using ash melting point and scanning electron microscope.It was found that the best desulphurization was achieved at 80℃ for 6 h,the removal rate of sodium was over 80%,and the quality of coal was improved.
