Objective To explore the effect of predictive nursing on constipation in patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage. Methods 80 cases of patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage were selected and randomly divided into two groups equally. The control group received regular nursing, while the observation group received predictive nursing. The nursing effect and improvement of constipation were compared between two groups. Results The proportion of patients without constipation of observation group was 35.0%, significantly higher than 12.5% of control group （P〈0.05）. After nursing, both groups had significantly improved scores of each dimension of quality of life, and total score of quality of life （P〈0.05）; The observation group was significantly higher than the control group in all score of quality of life （P 〈0.05）. Conclusions Predictive nursing applied in patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage can effectively prevent the incidence of constipation, and improve the quality of life of patients.
