Objective To observe and analyze the effect of evidence-based nursing in the care of elderly patients with diabetes. Methods A total of 100 elderly patients with diabetes admitted to the hospital from September 2016 to September2017 were randomly divided into observation group and control group. 50 patients in each group were treated with the relevant treatment. In the routine care mode, the patients in the observation group used evidence-based nursing interventions,and after intervention of the corresponding nursing methods, the quality of life scores and patient care satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The data of the study group showed that the patients in the observation group were far superior to those in the control group in the comparison of the scores of the quality of life indicators. the difference was statictically significant（P〈0.05）, and the control group patients in the comparison of nursing satisfaction（82%）, significantly lower than the observation group（98%）, the difference was statictically significant（P〈0.05）. Conclusion Evidence-based nursing has significant effect in elderly diabetes care work, can effectively improve the quality of life of patients, can further improve patient care satisfaction, can be widely used.
