Objective To observe the effect of open modified mastoidectomy combined with tympanoplasty in the treatment of chronic suppurative otitis media,and to summarize the nursing measures.Methods A total of 70 patients with chronic suppurative otitis media who were admitted to our hospital from June 2016 to June 2017 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into study group and control group according to random number expression method.Patients in the control group received traditional treatment,while patients in the study group were treated with open modified mastoidectomy combined with tympanoplasty.The incidence of otogenic complications was compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of otogenic complications in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Applying open modified mastoidectomy combined with tympanoplasty for patients with chronic suppurative otitis media can reduce the incidence of complications significantly,when it is combined with appropriate nursing interventions.So,this method is worth further promotion and application.
