Objective To observe and analyze the therapeutic effect of hand island flaps in the treatment of skin and soft tissue defects of fingers and hands.Methods A retrospective analysis was made of 32 cases of finger and hand skin and soft tissue defect repaired in our hospital from June 2014 to October 2018.According to the site of repair and the choice of treatment methods,21 cases received retrograde island flaps repaired and 11 cases received vascular nerve island flaps repaired.Results After percutaneous flap repair, the one-time survival rate of the flap was 90.63%.There were 3 cases of complications after operation.All the flaps survived after prognosis treatment. After 6 months of treatment,the excellent rate of repair was 93.75% according to the functional evaluation of nerve function,somatosensation and finger morphology.Conclusion The application of hand island flaps in the repair of finger and hand skin and soft tissue defects has a good clinical effect, and the survival rate of the flaps is high, which is worthy of popularization and application in clinic.
