Objective: To explore the effects of PDCA circulation management mode applied to infection management of neonatal intensive care unit(NICU). Methods: All 85 children admitted into NICU from December,2012 to December, 2014 were chosen as the control group, who accepted traditional mode of prevention infection,control and management;another 85 children admitted into NICU from January, 2015 to January, 2017 were taken as the observation group, who received PDCA circulation management mode. To compare the incidences of hospital infection, environmental hygiene monitoring pass rate and hand hygiene compliance. Results: The observation group was lower than the control group in the incidence of hospital infection, and the difference had statistical meaning(P <0.05). The observation group was higher than the control group in the pass rates of medical staffs’ hand, air,atomizer tank, humidification solution of incubator, ripple, device and the surface of instrument and other monitoring, and the difference showed statistical meaning(P <0.05). The observation group was superior to the control group in hand hygiene compliance, and the difference indicated statistical meaning(P<0.05). Conclusion:PDCA circulation management mode could decrease the incidence of hospital infection and raise medical staff′ s hand hygiene compliance.
