Objective To explore the effect of erythropoietin combined with hemoperfusion on renal anemia in hemodialysis patients. Methods Sixty patients with renal anemia who underwent hemodialysis in our hospital from August 2017 to August 2018 were enrolled in the hospital. The patients in the control group were treated with erythropoietin. Thirty patients in the group underwent erythropoietin combined with hemoperfusion. Results The transferrin saturation, serum iron, hematocrit, hemoglobin, albumin, C-reactive protein, urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, total effective rate and ferritin were superior to the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The effect of erythropoietin combined with hemoperfusion on patients with renal anemia undergoing hemodialysis is more significant.
