Based on the data of sedimentary diagenesis and tectonic evolution,this paper discusses the regularity and stages of hydrocarbon accumulation and evolution in the Western fault zone of T block in M Basin. It is considered that:(1) the source rocks of M. Saka and L. Saka Formations reached the peak of hydrocarbon expulsion one after another at the end of Triassic,and hydrocarbon migration along the predominant pathway was close to hydrocarbon accumulation. After the Indo-China movement, the primary oil and gas reservoirs in the lower part were almost destroyed,the escaped oil and gas migrated upward along the fault to the M. Saka and U. Saka formation to form secondary oil and gas reservoirs;(2) The period of hydrocarbon accumulation is divided into indigenic and secondary two stages by the Indo-China movement.
