In order to smoothly dismantle the dangerous overpass of the provincial highway S104 across Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and ensure the operation of the railway, the bearing capacity of each part of supporting structure of the bridge under the demolition process was checked through the simulation of finite element analysis. The most unfavorable working conditions in the process of bridge demolition were determined;the unsafe structural parts during the demolition process were found, and the remedies were put forward. The construction method of using the bridge machine to remove beam and slab by the reverse installation method was determined, providing reliable technical support for the bridge removal.
