Objective:To investigate the application effect of balloon catheter in the prevention of intrauterine adhesions after separation of intrauterine adhesions.Method:The clinical data of 71 patients with intrauterine adhesions who underwent gynecological surgery in Shenzhen Hengsheng Hospital of Southern Medical University from January 2017 to March 2018 were retrospectively analyzed.The patients were divided into two groups,group A(42 cases)had indwelling balloon catheter for 5 days after operation,while group C(29 cases)only underwent hysteroscopic intrauterine adhesions separation,and all patients were treated with artificial cycle therapy to promote endometrial growth.The menstruation,uterine cavity morphology,pregnancy,endometrial thickness and so on were compared between the two groups.Result:In terms of uterine cavity morphology,the cure rate and effective rate of group A were higher than that of group C,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). In terms of menstrual recovery, the effective rate of group A was 95.24%, higher than 72.41% of group C, the differencewas statistically significant (P<0.05). There were 10 cases of pregnancy in group A (35.71%) and 5 cases (17.24%) in group C (P<0.05). At 3 and 6 months afteroperation, the endometrial thickness of the two groups was thickened. The endometrial thickness of group A within 3 months after operation was better than that of 6months after operation and that of group C (P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinical effect of combined use of balloon catheter in the prevention of intrauterine adhesionsand postoperative pregnancy is better than single hysteroscopic intrauterine adhesions separation.
