The equivalent algorithm and the direct algorithm are respectively adopted for the simulation analysis on the temperature field of the sluice floor slab on the sunk shaft foundation during the construction. Through the comparison made between the distribution of the temperature field of the sluice floor slab during construction and the temperature changing processes of the key locations,it is demonstrated that both the algorithms can be applied to simulate the cooling pipe effect. As the cooling water pipe distribution is accurately simulated by the direct algorithm for the cooling water pipe,the radical change of the temperature gradient around the cooling water pipe can be more truly reflected by it,which is more tally with the reality,and then it is valuable to be popularized and applied.
