Objective To investigate the effect of hirudin in children with venous puncture. Methods Eighty-eight children with venipuncture who were admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to January 2017 were randomly selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method, 44 cases in each group. The control group was treated with anisodamine applied to the vascular site, and the observation group was applied to the vascular site with XiLiaoTuo. The success rate of one puncture, two puncture success rates, and puncture were compared in the two groups. Results After the corresponding drug treatment, the success rate of one puncture and the success rate of second puncture were higher in the observation group than in the control group. The puncture time was shorter than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). ConclusionHirudoid can effectively improve the success rate of puncture in children with venous puncture and shorten the puncture time. It is worthy of popularization and application in clinical practice.
