Biosynthesis of gold nanostructures has drawn increasing concerns because of its green and sustainable synthetic process. However, biosynthesis of gold nanoplates is still a challenge because of the expensive source and difficulties of controllable formation of morphology and size. Herein, one-pot biosynthesis of gold nanoplates is proposed, in which cheap yeast was extracted as a green precursor. The morphologies and sizes of the gold nanostructures can be controlled via varying the pH value of the biomedium. In acid condition, gold nanoplates with side length from 1300 ± 200 to 300 ± 100 nm and height from 18 to 15 nm were obtained by increasing the pH value. Whereas, in neutral or basic condition, only gold nanoflowers and nanoparticles were obtained. It was determined that organic molecules, such as succinic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, and glutathione, which are generated in metabolism process, played important role in the reduction of gold ions. Besides, it was found that the gold nanoplates exhibited plasmonic property with prominent dipole infrared resonance in near-infrared region, indicating their potential in surface plasmon-enhanced applications, such as bioimaging and photothermal therapy. 展开更多

Solar-blind ultraviolet detection is of great importance in astronomy and industrial and military applications.Here, we report enhanced solar-blind ultraviolet single-photon detection by a normal silicon avalanche photodiode(Si APD) single-photon detector with a specially designed photon-collecting device. By re-focusing the reflected photon from the Si chip surface on the detection area by the aluminum-coated hemisphere, the detection efficiency of the Si APD at 280 nm can be improved to 4.62%. This system has the potential for high-efficiency photon detection in the solar-blind ultraviolet regime with low noise. 展开更多

Outcomes of Coaxial Micro-incision Phacoemulsification in Nanophthalmic Eyes: Report of Retrospective Case Series 预览

Purpose: The surgical risk and complication rate after cataract surgery are extremely high in patients with nanophthalmos.This study is designed to compare the visual and refractive outcomes before and after coaxial micro-incision phacoemulsification and evaluate postoperative complications.Methods:.Fifty nine patients(89 eyes) with axial length(AL)< 21 mm diagnosed with nanophthalmos were enrolled in this retrospective study. All patients underwent coaxial micro-incision phacoemulsification and IOL implantation..The main outcome measures included anterior chamber depth(ACD),anterior chamber volume(ACV), anterior chamber angle(A CA), intraocular pressure(IOP) and best corrected visual acuity(BCVA). Wilcoxon signed rank test or Mann-Whitney test,and Chi-square test and logistic regression analysis were performed for statistical tests as appropriate.Results:.The median AL was 19.63 mm...Sixty-six eyes(74.16%) had a history of surgical intervention. Postoperative ACD, ACV and ACA were increased significantly(all P<0.001),whereas postoperative IOP was decreased significantly.(P <0.001) after surgery. Previous surgical intervention was related to a reduction in the postoperative ACD and ACA(P<0.01),and both preoperative and postoperative IOP.(P <0.001).Postoperative BCVA was improved in 94.38% of the cases.Intraoperative complications mainly included iridoschisis(6eyes, 6.74%). Early postoperative complications included temporary corneal edema(TCE)(23 eyes, 25.84%), anterior inflammatory response(AIR)(19 eyes, 21.35%), cystoid macular edema(CME)(14 eyes, 15.73%), and uveal effusion(4 eyes, 4.49%). Late postoperative complications included CME(8 eyes, 8.99%), uveal effusion(8 eyes, 8.99%),malignant glaucoma(2 eyes, 2.25%) and posterior capsular opacification(PCO)(10 eyes, 11.24%). The majority of complications(80%) were successfully resolved by pharmacotherapy or operation. The risk of surgical complications was greater in patients with lower AL,ACD,ACV or ACA andhigher nuclear hardness or mean keratometry(Km).Conclusi 展开更多

We propose and demonstrate free-space optical data links based on coaxial sidelobe-modified optical vortices(CSMOVs). In contrast to the optical communication systems based on amplitude, frequency, or phase detection, the proposed scheme uses the radii ratio between the principle ring and the first sidelobe of the CSMOV.Therefore, the demand of stringent alignment and/or accurate phase matching is released. We design and optimize a composite computer-generated hologram to generate a CSMOV with four topological charges(TCs).Extracted from the images captured by a CCD camera, the radii ratio between the principle ring and the first sidelobe of different TCs are consistent with the theoretical values.更多还原 展开更多

邻苯二甲酸二甲酯是一种干扰人体内分泌系统的化学物质,尽管对人体具有潜在危害,目前仍做为塑料、醋酸乙烯酯、纤维素等生产过程中的添加剂而广泛使用.伴随着邻苯二甲酸二甲酯的生产和应用,自然界不可避免地受其污染.因此,如何有效降解... 邻苯二甲酸二甲酯是一种干扰人体内分泌系统的化学物质,尽管对人体具有潜在危害,目前仍做为塑料、醋酸乙烯酯、纤维素等生产过程中的添加剂而广泛使用.伴随着邻苯二甲酸二甲酯的生产和应用,自然界不可避免地受其污染.因此,如何有效降解排放在环境中的邻苯二甲酸二甲酯以减少其对人类的不利影响成为化学研究者的重要任务.通过半导体光催化剂高效利用太阳能光催化降解邻苯二甲酸二甲酯是一种有效方法.TiO 2等半导体光催化剂由于光催化过程中产生的电子-空穴对极易复合导致其催化效率不高,减少光生电子-空穴对复合率进而提高光量子效率的方法有金属掺杂、非金属掺杂、表面敏化、半导体复合等多种手段.其中,Mo O3由于其独特的结构和化学性质广泛应用于光催化领域,并常作为耦合剂与其他半导体(如TiO 2)复合以提高光催化活性.在我们以前的工作中,曾使用MoO 3做为耦合剂与V2O5复合,实验结果证明MoO 3与V2O5复合形成异质结构有效提高了V2O5的光催化效率.MoO 3由于其带隙较宽(约2.90 e V),对太阳光利用率不高,以及电子-空穴对极易复合导致MoO 3实际光催化活性并不好.因此,我们考虑以MoO 3做为主体,V2O5做为耦合剂研究n(V)/n(Mo)比对V2O5/Mo O3复合光催化剂结构和性能的影响.我们以聚乙烯吡咯烷酮(PVP)、四水合钼酸铵((NH4)6Mo7O24·4H2O)和偏钒酸铵(NH4VO3)为原料,采用静电纺丝技术结合溶胶凝胶过程的方法,成功制备了具有不同n(V)/n(Mo)比的V2O5/Mo O3复合光催化剂.XRD结果表明,当n(V)/n(Mo)〈1/6时,钒离子掺杂进入MoO 3晶格内,n(V)/n(Mo)〉1/6时,部分钒离子掺杂进入MoO 3晶格内,部分钒离子聚集形成V2O5晶体,V2O5晶体数量随着n(V)/n(Mo)逐渐增加,且尺寸有所增长.这一点在扫描电镜中得到了进一步的证实.扫描电镜结果表明 展开更多

Evaluation of the Consistency of Total Spherical Aberration before and after Aspherical Intraocular Lens Implantation 预览

Purpose:.To analyze the consistency between preoperatively estimated and postoperatively measured total spherical aberration and to evaluate the feasibility of personalized selection of an aspherical intraocular lens(IOL) based on the corneal spherical aberration measured by the Scheimpflug photography system(Pentacam).Methods:.A total of 47 patients.(82 eyes).with age-related cataract received a comprehensive ophthalmologic examination..Corneal spherical aberration was measured by using the Scheimpflug photography system. Patients with corneal spherical aberration ≤0.3 μm were implanted with a zero-spherical aberration advanced optics(AO) aspherical intraocular lens and those with corneal spherical aberration >0.3 μm received a Tecnis ZA9003 aspherical lens(-0.27 μm spherical aberration). Preoperative total remnant spherical aberration was estimated and actual total spherical aberration was measured 3months postoperatively. The consistency between preoperative and postoperative spherical aberration was analyzed by t-test,correlation analysis, and Blant-Altman plots.Results: The estimated and measured values of total spherical aberration were(0.189±0.151) μm and(0.141±0.131) μm,with a statistical difference(t=5.347,P<0.01). For 45 eyes implanted with AO lenses, preoperatively estimated and postoperatively measured total spherical aberration were(0.268±0.137) μm and(0.214 ±0.103) μm. For 37 eyes implanted with Tecnis ZA9003, preoperative estimate of total spherical aberration was(0.092±0.103) μm and postoperative measured value was(0.054±0.106) μm. Statistical significance was noted, as was a positive linear correlation between preoperative and postoperative values(γ=0.846,P<0.01). Bland-Altman analysis showed high consistency between the estimated and measured spherical aberration.Conclusion: The estimated total spherical aberration measured preoperatively differed from the value measured postoperatively, but the two values showed good agreement. Carbon dots(CDs), as a new member of carbon nanomaterial family, have aroused great interest since their discovery in 2004. Because of their outstanding water solubility, high sensitivity and selectivity to target analytes, low toxicity, favorable biocompatibility, and excellent photostability, researchers from diverse disciplines have come together to further develop the fundamental properties of CDs. Many methods for the production of CDs have been reported, therein, hydrothermal and solvothermal technology needs simple equipments, and microwave synthesis needs less reaction time, hence these methods become current common synthesis methods, in which many precursors have been applied to produce CDs. Due to their excellent fluorescence, CDs have made impressive strides in sensitivity and selectivity to a diverse array of salt ions,organic/biological molecules and target gases. The development of CDs as nanoprobes is still in its infancy, but continued progress may lead to their integration into environmental and biological applications. Hydrothermal,solvothermal, and microwave synthesis of fluorescent carbon dots and their detection applications as nanoprobes in salt ions, organic/biological molecules, and target gases will be reviewed. 展开更多

氢气是一种清洁能源,利用半导体光催化技术将水转化成氢气是解决全球能源危机和环境污染问题的有效途径之一.开发高效的光催化体系以实现水分解产氢是目前能源领域中的一个研究热点.六方相的ZnIn2S4是一种三元金属硫化物,因其具有能够... 氢气是一种清洁能源,利用半导体光催化技术将水转化成氢气是解决全球能源危机和环境污染问题的有效途径之一.开发高效的光催化体系以实现水分解产氢是目前能源领域中的一个研究热点.六方相的ZnIn2S4是一种三元金属硫化物,因其具有能够吸收可见光的窄带隙(约2.4eV)和良好的化学稳定性,在光催化产氢方面得到了较好应用.在半导体光催化产氢体系中,往往需要加入助催化剂来提供产氢活性位并降低产氢反应的过电位,这种半导体/助催化剂体系中光催化产氢效率不仅取决于助催化剂的组成和结构,还受二者界面之间光生电子传输效率的影响.我们课题组前期研究发现,NiS作为一种廉价的非贵金属助催化剂能够提高ZnIn2S4在可见光下的光催化产氢活性.考虑到碳量子点(CQDs)是一种具有良好导电能力的纳米材料,并已被负载于半导体光催化剂上来促进半导体表面光生电子的传输,本文将CQDs作为光生电子传输的“桥梁”引入到NiS/ZnIn2S4体系中,用来促进光生电子从ZnIn2S4到NiS的定向传输,从而提高其光催化产氢效率.实验首先合成NiS/CQDs复合材料,然后在其存在下进行ZnIn2S4的自组装制得NiS/CQDs/ZnIn2S4.利用X射线粉末衍射、扫描电镜、透射电镜、傅立叶红外光谱、X射线光电子能谱和紫外-可见漫反射光谱对催化剂的组成、结构及光学性质进行了详细表征,考察了其在可见光下以三乙醇胺(TEOA)为牺牲剂时的光催化分解水产氢性能.结果表明,含有CQDs的NiS/CQDs/ZnIn2S4光催化剂在光照5h后的产氢总量达到142μmol,分别为相同条件下ZnIn2S4和NiS/ZnIn2S4产氢总量的5.5和1.6倍.相比于通过将NiS沉积在预先合成的CQDs/ZnIn2S4上所获得的CQDs/NiS/ZnIn2S4光催化剂,NiS/CQDs/ZnIn2S4显示出更优越的光催化产氢活性.TEM观测发现,在NiS/CQDs/ZnIn2S4中CQDs与ZnIn2S4和NiS均有明显的接触,表明CQDs作为“桥梁”连接� 展开更多

目的:探讨Bcl-xmRNA前体剪接转换寡核苷酸(Bcl-xsplice-switching oligonucleotides,Bcl-xsso)对胶质瘤细胞株U251增殖和凋亡的影响。方法:设计靶向Bcl-X基因下游选择性5’端剪接位点的Bcl-xSSO,B-globinSSO作为阴性对照SSO。SSO... 目的:探讨Bcl-xmRNA前体剪接转换寡核苷酸(Bcl-xsplice-switching oligonucleotides,Bcl-xsso)对胶质瘤细胞株U251增殖和凋亡的影响。方法:设计靶向Bcl-X基因下游选择性5’端剪接位点的Bcl-xSSO,B-globinSSO作为阴性对照SSO。SSO经2’-甲氧乙基(2'-O-methoxyethyl,MOE)、全硫代磷酸化(phosphorothioate,PS)修饰。采用阳离子脂质体将不同的SSO转染至U251细胞。采用四甲基偶氮唑蓝比色法(MTT法)检测Bcl-xSSO对U251细胞的增殖抑制率。流式细胞术定量检测U251细胞的凋亡率。逆转录聚合酶链反应(RT-PCR)方法检测Bcl-xSSO对Bcl-xL、Bcl-xSmRNA表达水平的影响,Westernblot方法检测Bcl-xSSO对Bcl-xL、Bcl-xS蛋白表达的影响。结果:MTY结果显示Bcl-XSSO显著抑制U251细胞的增殖,且抑制作用呈剂量依赖性。流式细胞术检测Bcl-XSSO能够明显促进U251细胞凋亡。RT-PCR检测Bcl-XSSO处理组Bcl-xLmRNA表达水平下降,Bcl-xSmRNA表达水平升高。Westernblot检测Bcl-XSSO处理组Bcl-xL蛋白表达水平下降,Bcl-xS蛋白表达水平升高。结论:在胶质瘤细胞U251中,Bcl-xSSO可特异性的作用于Bcl-XmRNA前体,调节其选择性剪接模式从Bcl-xL转换至Bcl-xS,进而促进U251细胞凋亡。. 展开更多

在陕西省永寿县和河南省洛阳市分别设置了11和7处大田试验,分5层采集0~100cm土壤样品并测定其起始硝态氮含量。永寿试验设7个处理,分别为不施氮,硝态氮、铵态氮品种、硝态氮与铵态氮2:1组合各2个处理;洛阳试验设6个处理(硝态氮... 在陕西省永寿县和河南省洛阳市分别设置了11和7处大田试验,分5层采集0~100cm土壤样品并测定其起始硝态氮含量。永寿试验设7个处理,分别为不施氮,硝态氮、铵态氮品种、硝态氮与铵态氮2:1组合各2个处理;洛阳试验设6个处理(硝态氮肥只有1个品种),施氮处理均施N150kg hm-2,研究小麦对铵态氮和硝态氮肥响应的差异及其与不同深度土层硝态氮累积量的关系。试验表明,同一形态不同氮肥品种之间的增产差异显著低于不同形态之间的差异。比较不同形态氮肥的小麦产量、增产量和增产率的平均值,硝态氮肥最高,硝态氮、铵态氮组合次之,铵态氮最低。氮肥增产量和增产率随土壤累积硝态氮量增加而显著下降;累积量越低,氮肥增产效果越突出,硝态氮的效果也越显著。由此可见,土壤累积的硝态氮量是决定氮肥肥效的主要因子,也是决定不同形态氮素效果的主要凼子。只有存硝态氮累积量低的土壤上,氮肥才能充分发挥作用,硝态氮也才能表现出明显的优势。 展开更多
