Green finance is an important driving force for practicing the idea of green development and realizing sustainable development. As one of the five green finance reform and innovation demonstration district in China, the Guian New District between Guiyang and Anshun has played a key leading role in the development of green finance in southwest China. Since 2017, the green financial market in Guizhou province has achieved a leap-forward high-speed development. Based on this, this paper takes the idea of green development as the starting point, through in-depth analysis of the development status of green finance in Guizhou province under the policy control and guidance of the national and local governments,in order to find the limitations and obstacles in the development of green finance in Guian New District.In addition, at the end of this article, the author will further discuss the mechanism and path of green financial reform and innovation in Guizhou province from the aspects of perfecting policy guidance, optimizing organizational system, innovating products and services, etc. for effectively promoting the pace of green development in Guizhou province. 展开更多

The global economic models are shifting from “brown economy” to “green economy”. Today, more than ever, greening of development is defined as the approach to achieve sustainable development in the context of climate change. Being a developing country, Vietnam has been severely affected by the increasing impacts of climate change. The National Strategy for Green Growth and the National Strategy for Climate Change with vision towards 2045 which was passed and implemented has proven the determination of Vietnam to achieve sustainable development in the context of climate change by developing a green economy. 展开更多

Performance of Green Type Eggplant in Relation of Insect and Diseases 预览

The study was conducted with 18 eggplant lines/variety at the farm of Olericulture Division, HRC, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute, Gazipur during the winter season of 2017-18 to develop new green type high yielding OP variety having tolerance to eggplant fruit and shoot borer and bacterial wilt. The lines varied significantly for their response to all characters (P SM 083F required minimum 105 days to first harvest. Maximum marketable fruit number was obtained by SM083A (30.33). Heavy sized fruit was harvested by SM275 (175 g), followed by SM289 (170 g), SM279 (169 g), SM083E (165 g), SM253 (164 g). The range of fruit infection by BFSB was 10.33% - 19.007%, while lowest in SM262 (10.33%). In case of bacterial wilt (BW) infestation at field level performance, zero percent incidence was observed in SM262, SM275, SM279, SM291B. The yield range of eggplant lines was 18.62 - 43.36 t/ha. The highest fruit yield was recorded from the line SM 275 (43.36 t/ha), which was statistically similar with which was statistically similar with SM 279 (39.85 t/ha), SM 291B (38.59 t/ha), SM083B (38.42 t/ha), SM 262 (38.17 t/ha), SM 253 (37.43 t/ha). Considering earliness, tolerance to fruit infection by BFSB, bacterial wilt infestation, attractive fruit shape and fruit colour, the lines SM 275, SM 279, SM 291B, SM083B, SM 262, SM 253 were found promising. Operation management of green ports and shipping networks: overview and research opportunities

Global ports and maritime shipping networks are important carriers for global supply chain networks, but they are also the main sources of energy consumption and pollution. To limit ship emissions in ports and offshore areas, the International Maritime Organization, as well as some countries, has issued a series of policies. This study highlights the importance and necessity of investigating emergent research problems in the operation management of green ports and maritime shipping networks. Considerable literature related to this topic is reviewed and discussed. Moreover, a comprehensive research framework on green port and shipping operation management is proposed for future research opportunities. The framework mainly comprises four research areas related to emission control and grading policies. This review may provide new ideas to the academia and industry practitioners for improving the performance and efficiency of the operation management of green ports and maritime shipping networks. 展开更多

Therefore, energy efficiency is regarded as the best economical approach to provide safer and affordable energy for both utilities and consumers, through the enhancement of energy security and reduction of energy emissions. One of the problems of cloud computing service providers is the high rise in the cost of energy, efficiency together with carbon emission with regards to the running of their internet data centres (IDCs). In order to mitigate these issues, smart micro-grid was found to be suitable in increasing the energy efficiency, sustainability together with the reliability of electrical services for the IDCs. Therefore, this paper presents idea on how smart micro-grids can bring down the disturbing cost of energy, carbon emission by the IDCs with some level of energy efficiency all in an effort to attain green cloud computing services from the service providers. In specific term, we aim at achieving green information and communication technology (ICT) in the field of cloud computing in relations to energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness and carbon emission reduction from cloud data center’s perspective. 展开更多

It is estimated that about 50 percent of China’s annual gross domestic product(GDP)is needed to compensate the environment cost,it is urgent to shift China’s massive economy to green one.In China’s 13th Five-Year plan(2016-2020),China plans to establish the“ecological civilization”,incorporating air pollution control,energy consumption control targets,and green finance,laying out China’s transition towards a green and low-carbon economy.However,the green finance system establishment demands many auxiliary systems,such as fiscal support,legal institutions,and other taxation aids.From global perspective,the green finance system also helps to reduce the environmental risks worldwide both the countries along ancient silk roads and the European countries.On the other hand,investment in Europe has still not recovered from pre-financial crisis levels.The European Union has to massively accelerate investment to meet its climate and energy obligations with an annual investment gap of€100 billion in funding Europe’s energy infrastructure to reach its climate and energy targets.The European Union plans to re-boot the Capital Markets Union to help meet this challenge by setting up an expert group on sustainable finance.Both China and Europe are facing the climate challenge and they have to deal with it together.Chinese government advocates public-private partnership(PPP)model to improve the funding environment and actively seek way out.This paper aims to arouse the awareness of cooperation in Europe and China in green financing and hi-tech field,by creating a framework to improve the financing mechanism of environmental protection and green economy. 展开更多

The impact of the V-pits covering layer(VCL) position on the optoelectronic performance of InGaN-based green light-emitting diodes(LEDs) was investigated. It is found that earlier covering of V-pits will hinder the hole injection via the sidewall of V-pits, and then result in less quantum wells(QWs) participating in radioluminescence. The current-voltage characteristics show that the LEDs with earlier covering of V-pits have higher operating voltage at room temperature, and a more dramatic voltage rise with the reduction of temperature. Meanwhile, more manifested emission peaks for sidewall QWs and deeper QWs near to ntype layer was observed in the sample with earlier coveing of V-pits at cryogenic temperatures, for the reason that the holes being injected via V-pits sidewall have higher kinetic energy and could transport to deeper QWs. 展开更多

An improved empirical green function method to extract microseismic signals

And the routine methods for arrival picking are insufficiently efficient due to these strong influences. Here, we modified the empirical green function method and applied it to extract the green functions and the radiation coefficients of microseismic events with the largest energy in clusters.Multiple-channel records were used to estimate an 'average' source spectrum and then the 'average' source wavelet was removed from the records by deconvolution. We applied this method to the real data,and the result indicated clear improvement in extracting the dominant event of the clusters. 展开更多

The escalating mass of solid waste at an overwhelming sum requires a global attention to strive for efficient waste management and to outsource the ecological treatments. The asphalt pavement industry that consumes a vast scale of natural resources while contributing to thermal and greenhouse emissions is viewed as a high potential alternative for the application of solid waste as asphalt modifier and substantial waste reduction. In efforts to urge for cleaner and greener asphalt production, a growing trend towards usage of solid waste as a renewable material is paving a sustainable future for the asphalt pavement industry. The economic options of incorporating solid waste into the asphaltic mixture coupled with proven effective performances are a green and cost-effective alternative to mitigate various pavement distresses. Various options either as coarse or fine aggregates and as fillers in powder, ash, or fibre form are to stimulate further research interest to incorporate a diversified range of solid waste into the asphalt binder and asphalt mixture. Prior to incorporating solid waste into the asphaltic mixture through the selected options, prerequisite tests in addressing engineering limitations due to the unknown properties of solid waste are reviewed. The concerns on environmental impact are given heavy metals leaching possibilities into water sources are addressed by Toxicity Characterization Leaching Procedure test, to leverage further the systematic reuse of solid waste in steering towards the cleaner production of the asphalt mixture. The microcosmic traits of solid waste namely surface morphology, mineralogical composition and chemical composition are summarized based on the usage of Scanning Electron Microscope, X-Ray Diffraction, and X-Ray Fluorescence, respectively. This systematic review is an enactment and stimulus for researchers to have a general overview before incorporating solid waste into asphalt mixture. 展开更多

During the past three decades, metal selenide and telluride quantum dots (QDs) have been deemed one of the most vital nanomaterials in virtue of their extensive applications, including lighting, solar harvesting,photocatalysis, biolabelling, quantum computing and so forth. With the growing demands for the QDrelated products, environmental friendly, energy-efficient and timesaving approaches to synthesize functional metal selenide and telluride QDs are greatly welcome. On the basis of the development in synthesis of chalcogen precursors, this mini review summarizes the recent progress in the green methods for synthesizing metal selenide and telluride QDs. At first, the panorama of basic synthetic methodology of metal chalcogenide QDs is briefly introduced. Then, numerous evolving colloidal synthetic methods are discussed, highlighting the phosphine-free precursors and the aqueous ionic precursors. Finally, this review ends with remaining challenges and future prospects in synthetic schemes. We hope this review will provide some stimulating information to promote further advancement in this area. 展开更多

The development of green super rice varieties with improved nutrient use efficiency(NuUE)is a vital target area to increase yield and make it more stable under rainfed conditions.In the present study, we followed an early backcross(BC) breeding approach by using a highyielding and widely adapted Xian variety, Weed Tolerant Rice 1(WTR-1), as a recipient and a Geng variety, Hao-An-Nong(HAN), as a donor.Starting from the BC1F2 generation, the BC population went through one generation of selection under irrigated, low-input, and rainfed conditions, followed by four consecutive generations of screening and selection for high grain yield(GY) under six different nutrient conditions(NPK, 75 N,-N,-P,-NP, and-NPK), leading to the development of 230 BC1F6 introgression lines(ILs).These 230 ILs were evaluated under the same six nutrient conditions for 13 agro-morphological and grain yield component traits in comparison to four checks and parents.Significant trait variations were observed between the treatments and ILs.Positive correlations were identified for GY with biomass, panicle length, flag-leaf area, flag-leaf width, filled grain number per panicle,1000-grain weight, and tiller number under-N,-P,-NP, and-NPK conditions.Out of 230 ILs,12 were identified as promising under two or more nutrient deficiency conditions.The results demonstrated an efficient inter-subspecific BC breeding procedure with a first round of selection under rainfed-drought conditions, followed by four generations of progeny testing for yield performance under six nutrient conditions.The promising ILs can be useful resources for molecular genetic dissection and understanding the physiological mechanisms of NuUE. 展开更多

With the development of ships towards large scale, high speed and light weight, ship hydroelastic responses and slamming strength issues are becoming increasingly important. In this paper, a time-domain nonlinear hydroelasticity theory is developed to predict ship motion and load responses in harsh regular waves.Hydrostatic restoring force, wave excitation force and radiation force are calculated on the instantaneously wetted body surface to consider the nonlinear effects caused by large amplitude motions of ship in steep waves. A twodimensional(2 D) generalized Wagner model and a one-dimensional(1 D) dam-breaking model are used to estimate the impact loads caused by bow flare slamming and green water on deck, respectively;the impact loads are coupled with the hydroelastic equation in time-domain. Moreover, segmented model tests are carried out in a towing tank to investigate the wave and slamming loads acting on the hull sailing in harsh regular head waves and also validate the numerical results. 展开更多
