通过数值求解含时薛定谔方程,理论上研究了钾原子的两种不同模型势与强激光场作用下的高次谐波谱,短程模型势原子产生的谐波谱效率低于长程模型势原子.通过对谐波谱的时间频率分析表明短程模型势原子的谐波谱中长轨道发挥重要作用.

In this paper, we theoretically investigate the high-order harmonic generation and attosecond pulse generation when a two-electron He atom is exposed to the intense laser pulse. It shows that due to the two-electron double recombination mechanism, an extended plateau beyond the classical single-electron harmonic has been obtained on the two-electron harmonic spectrum. Further by using this two-electron harmonic extension scheme combined with the two-color field, two supercontinuum bandwidths with 200 e V have been obtained. As a result, a series of sub-60 as extreme ultraviolet(XUV)pulses have been directly generated. 展开更多

We demonstrate the control of neutral fragmentation of methane(CH4) induced by a Ti:sapphire intense laser pulse(800 nm, 40 fs) by using a pump–probe spectroscopy. Enhancement of the fluorescence emission from the neutral radical CH(A2Δ→ X2Π) induced by the intense laser field(~1014 W/cm2) is observed when the wavelength of the probe laser pulse is tuned to 400 nm. The phenomena are explained based on excitation enhancement of the super-excited state of the parent molecule resulting in an increase in neutral dissociation of the methane molecules. 展开更多

This study shows that the photoelectron energy spectrum generated by an intense laser pulse in the presence of a continuous X-ray has interesting and useful statistical properties. The total photoionization production is linearly proportional to the time duration of the laser pulse and the square of the beam size. The spectral double energy-integration is an intrinsic value of the laser-assisted X-ray photoionization, which linearly depends on the laser intensity and which quantitatively reflects the strengths of the laser-field modulation and the quantum interference between photoelectrons. The spectral energy width also linearly depends on the laser intensity. These linear relationships suggest new methods for the in-situ measurement of laser intensity and pulse duration with high precision. 展开更多

We use the strong field approximation with a time window function controlling the release time of electrons to study the intra-cycle and inter-cycle interferences in few-cycle intense laser pulses impinging on He. The diffraction fringes,i.e., the vertical stripe-like structure, observed in the experimental two-dimensional photoelectron momentum distributions of Gopal et al.(2009 Phys. Rev. Lett. 103 053001) have been attributed to the interplay of the intra- and inter-cycle interferences. The pure numerical calculations by solving the time-dependent Schr¨odinger equation are also performed and the results are compared with the experimental measurements directly. It has been found that the position of the stripe-like structure can be used to determine the duration of the laser pulses used in experiments. 展开更多

We theoretically investigate the strong-field ionization of H+2 molecules in four different electronic states by calculating photoelectron angular distributions in circularly polarized fields. We find that the structure of photoelectron angular distribution depends on the molecular orbital as well as the energy of the photoelectron. The location of main lobes changes with the symmetric property of the molecular orbital. Generally, for molecules with bonding electronic states, the photoelectron’s angular distribution shows a rotation of π/2 with respect to the molecular axis, while for molecules with antibonding electronic states, no rotation occurs. We use an interference scenario to interpret these phenomena. We also find that, due to the interference effect, a new pair of jets appears in the waist of the main lobes, and the main lobes or jets of the photoelectron’s angular distribution are split into two parts if the photoelectron energy is sufficiently high. 展开更多

It is shown that as an intense laser pulse reshaped by the capillary wall propagates in capillary plasma, it resonantly excites a strong wakefield if a suitable laser pulse width and capillary radius are chosen for a certain plasma density. The dependence of the laser width and capillary radius on the plasma density for resonance conditions is considered. The wakefield amplitude and longitudinal scale of bubbles in capillary plasma are much larger than those in unbounded plasma, so the capillary guided plasma wakefield is more favorable to electron acceleration. 展开更多

<正> Propagation of intense femtosecond laser pulses (60 fs,800 nm,120 mJ,6 × 1017W/cm2 in vacuum)in supersonic (CD4)N and (D2)N cluster jets at different backingpressures was studied.Pump-probe interfe... <正> Propagation of intense femtosecond laser pulses (60 fs,800 nm,120 mJ,6 × 1017W/cm2 in vacuum)in supersonic (CD4)N and (D2)N cluster jets at different backingpressures was studied.Pump-probe interferometry is employed to investigate the propagation oflaser beams in dense cluster jets by examining the electron density distribution of plasma channels.It was found that propagation effects,including ionization-induced defocusing and laserattenuation of incident pulses,are very different in the (CD4)N and (D2)N cluster jets.Differentionization states of CD4 and D2 molecules were observed by analyzing the transverse electron densityprofiles of the plasma channels and should be considered as a major reason for the differencesin the propagation effects.Numerical simulations of the nonlinear propagation of femtosecondlaser pulses in (CD4)n and (D2)N cluster jets were performed,and the results indicated a goodreproduction of the experimental data. 展开更多

Under classical particle dynamics, the interaction process between intense femtosecond laser pulses and icosahedral noble-gas atomic clusters was studied. Our calculated results show that ionization proceeds mainly through tunnel ionization in the combined field from ions, electrons and laser, rather than the electron-impact ionization. With increasing cluster size, the average and maximum kinetic energy of the product ion increases. According to our calculation, the expansion process of the clusters after laser irradiation is dominated by Coulomb explosion and the expansion scale increases with increasing cluster size. The dependence of average kinetic energy and average charge state of the product ions on laser wavelength is also presented and discussed. The dependence of average kinetic energy on the number of atoms inside the cluster was studied and compared with the experimental data.
