Forming the transverse inner rib of a curved generatrix part through power spinning

How to form high-quality transverse inner ribs through power spinning is a key issue for complicated integrated curved generatrix parts with transverse inner ribs. In this study, the forming characteristics and laws during the power spinning process were investigated using a finite element simulation based on the orthogonal design method. The results show that the transverse inner rib distributes homogeneously along the circumferential direction but inhomogeneously along the generatrix direction. Depressions occur easily in the middle zone of the rib (MZR). The roller nose radius is the most significant parameter of the MZR underfill degree. A larger roller nose radius is helpful to decrease the MZR underfill degree. Furthermore, the preformed billet thickness also plays a vital role in the underfill degree of the front zone of the rib and the back zone of the rib, as well as the depression degree of the outer surface of the rib. By combining the ribfilling characteristics and laws, the optimized forming process window for obtaining high-quality inner ribs was obtained by regression analysis, thus laying a basis for improving the forming quality of curved generatrix parts with transverse inner ribs in power spinning. 展开更多

A series of co-polyimide(PI)fibers containing phenylphosphine oxide(PPO)group were synthesized by incorporating the bis(4-aminophenoxy)phenyl phosphine oxide(DAPOPPO)monomer into the PI molecular chain followed by dry-jet wet spinning.The effects of DAPOPPO molar content o n the atomic oxygen(AO)resistance of the fibers were investigated systematically.When the AO fluence increased from 0 atoms cm^-2 to 3.2×l0^20 atoms.cm^-2,the mass loss of the fibers showed the dependence on DAPOPPO molar content in co-PI fibers.The PI fiber containing 40%DAPOPPO showed lower mass loss compared to those containing 0%and 20%DAPOPPO.At higher AO fluence,the higher DAPOPPO content gave rise to dense carpet-like surface of fibers.XPS results indicated that the passivated phosphate layer was deposited on the fiber surface when exposed to AO,which effectively prevented fiber from AO erosion.With the DAPOPPO content increasing from 0%to 40%,the retentions of tensile strength and initial modul us for the fibers exhibited obvious growth from 44%to 68%,and 59%to 70%,after A O exposure with the fluence of 3.2×l0^20 atoms cm^-2.T h e excellent AO resistance benefits the fibers for application in low Earth orbit as flexible construction components. 展开更多

目的:探讨动感单车运动对青年知识分子体成分的影响,分析动感单车运动过程中运动强度的变化。方法:采用脂肪测试仪、人体围度测量尺测定20名青年知识分子的体成分相关指标,采用Polar心率遥测仪全程记录运动中的心率变化,采用尿样分析仪... 目的:探讨动感单车运动对青年知识分子体成分的影响,分析动感单车运动过程中运动强度的变化。方法:采用脂肪测试仪、人体围度测量尺测定20名青年知识分子的体成分相关指标,采用Polar心率遥测仪全程记录运动中的心率变化,采用尿样分析仪测定运动后的尿蛋白含量。结果:青年知识分子体成分各项指标均有所下降,男性的身体脂肪率较运动前有非常显著性差异(P<0.01)、内脏脂肪指数较运动前有显著性差异(P<0.05);女性的体重、BMI、基础代谢率较运动前有所下降,呈显著性差异(P<0.05);50min的动感单车运动过程中,心率值持续40min以上在125~165b/min之间,运动强度达到中等强度;男性尿蛋白阳性检出率70%。结论:长期坚持动感单车运动,尽量加大动作幅度和呼吸深度,能取得较理想的运动效果,达到减脂健身的目的。 展开更多

Spinning production is a typical continuous manufacturing process characterized by high speed and uncertain dynamics. Each manufacturing unit in spinning production produces various real-time tasks, which may affect production efficiency and yam quality if not processed in time. This paper presents an edge computing- based method that is different from traditional centralized cloud computation because its decentralization characteristics meet the high-speed and high-response requirements of yam production. Edge computing nodes, real-time tasks, and edge computing resources are defined. A system model is established, and a real-time task processing method is proposed for the edge computing scenario. Experimental results indicate that the proposed real-time task processing method based on edge computing can effectively solve the delay problem of real-time task processing in spinning cyber-physical systems, save bandwidth, and enhance the security of task transmission. 展开更多

To predict the microstructure evolution and reveal the forming mechanism of Ni-based superalloy cylindrical parts during hot power spinning, a finite element method (FEM) model of deformation-heat transfermicrostructure evolution was established using MSC.Marc software. A numerical simulation was then conducted based on the secondary development of user subroutines, to investigate evolution of the microstructure of a Haynes 230 alloy cylindrical part during hot power spinning. The volume fraction of dynamic recrystallization (DRX) and the grain size of Haynes 230 alloy cylindrical parts during hot power spinning were analyzed. The results showed that the DRX of the spun workpiece was more obvious with an increase in the forming temperature, T, and the total thinning ratio of wall thickness,ψt.Furthermore, the complete DRX microstructure with fine and uniform grains was obtained when T≥1 100 °C and ψt≥ 2 56%, but the grain size of the spun workpiece decreased slightly with an increase in the roller feed rate, f. It is crucial to develop flexible and wearable electronic devices that have attracted tremendous interest due to their merits on compactness,flexibility and high capacitive properties.Herein we report the continuously ordered macroscopic poly(ionic liquid)-graphene fibers by wet spinning method via liquid crystal assembly for supercapacitor application.The fabricated all-solid-state supercapacitors exhibited a high areal capacitance(268.2 mF cm 2)and volumetric capacitance(204.6 F cm 3)with an outstanding areal energy density(9.31μWh cm-2)and volumetric energy density(8.28 mWh cm-3).The fiber supercapacitors demonstrated exceptional cycle life for straight electrodes of about 10,000 cycles(94.2%capacitance retention)and flexibility at different angles(0°,45°,90°,180°)along with a good flexible cycling stability after 6000 cycles(92.7%capacitance retention).To date,such a novel poly(ionic liquid)-graphene fiber supercapacitors would be a new platform in real-time flexible electronics. 展开更多

Structural control of silica aerogel fibers for methylene blue removal

The development of efficient adsorbents is significant for the miniaturization and cost reduction of water purifying facility. In our previous study, a new kind of silica aerogel fibers(SAFs) with hierarchical structure and hollow structure were developed, which shows outstanding mass transport property and adsorption performance. Herein, we further control and study the hierarchical structure and hollow structure of silica aerogel fibers by changing the sulfuric acid concentration of ageing bath and spinning speed. For removing methylene blue, A0 W120 SAFs sample, with DI water as ageing bath and a winding speed of 120 mm/s,presents the best mass transport property and adsorption performance, as they possess larger pore sizes in the outer layer, thinner fiber wall and higher degree of hollowness. The removal rates of methylene blue by A0 W120 SAFs sample is up to 91.6% and 98.2% in 2 and 5 min, respectively, which are at least 30% higher than other comparable commercial adsorbents, while the adsorption capacity of methylene blue reaches up to 139.1 mg/g. 展开更多

For purpose of promoting the hydrogen absorption and desorption thermodynamics and kinetics properties of Mg-Ni-based alloys, partially substituting Y and Cu for Mg and Ni respectively and melt spinning technique were applied for getting Mg25-xYxNi9 Cu(χ = 0-7) alloys. Their microstructures and phases were characterized with the help of X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Their hydrogen absorbing and desorbing properties were tested by a Sievert apparatus, DSC, and TGA, which were connected with a H2 detector. In order to estimate the dehydrogenation activation energy of alloy hydride, both Arrhenius and Kissinger methods were applied for calculation. It is found that their hydriding kinetics notably declines, however, their hydrogen desorption kinetics conspicuously improves, with spinning rate and Y content increasing. Their hydrogen desorption activation energy markedly decreases under the same constraint, and it is found that melt spinning and Y substituting Mg improve the real driving force for dehydrogenation. As for the tendency of hydrogen absorption capacity,it presents an elevation firstly and soon after a decline with the rising of spinning rate, however, it always lowers with Y content growing. With Y content and spinning rate increasing, their thermodynamic parameters(△H and △S absolute values) visibly decrease, and the starting hydrogen desorption temperatures of alloy hydrides obviously lower. 展开更多

To ameliorate the electrochemical hydrogen storage properties of RE-Mg-Ni-Mn-based AB2-type electrode alloys,La element was partially substituted by Ce,and La1-xCexMgNi3.5Mn0.5(x=0,0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4)alloys were fabricated by casting and melt spinning.The effects of Ce content on structures and electrochemical hydrogen storage properties of prepared alloys were studied in detail.Results show that the experimental alloys consist of LaMgNi4 and LaNi5 phases.The variation of Ce content,instead of changing phase composition,results in an obvious phase abundance change in the alloys,namely the amount of LaMgNi4 and LaNi5 phases,respectively,increases and decreases with Ce content growing.Moreover,the partial substitution of Ce for La leads to that the lattice keeps constant,cell volumes clearly decreases and the alloy grains are markedly refined.The electrochemical measurements reveal that the as-cast and as-spun alloys obtain the maximum discharge capacities at the first cycling without any activation needed.With Ce content increasing,the discharge capacity of as-cast alloys visibly decreases.By contrast,the as-spun alloys have the maximum discharge capacity value.The substitution of Ce for La dramatically promotes the cycle stability.Moreover,the electrochemical kinetic performances of as-cast and asspun alloys first increase and then decrease with Ce content increasing. 展开更多
