What Process Optimizes Convective Drying of Farm Products with Complex Constitution: Case of Okra (<i>Abelmoschus esculentus</i>) 预览

In this paper, we propose an optimized process for farm product convective drying. Above and beyond the influence of the air parameters on foodstuff convective drying, this work shows that product internal parameters and drying proceedings must be taken into account during the evaluation of their convective drying. Results indicate that okra maturity influences its convective drying. It dries faster when it is too young or when it is advanced age. Drying time of okra of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 days old is respectively 580 min, 780 min, 990 min, 1200 min and 850 min. Also, one observes that considering okra on its three zones according it length, i.e. its base, middle and extremity parts have not the same resistance to transfers during convective drying. These three zones have respectively 400 min, 520 min and 600 min of drying time. Okra cut reveals a major importance on its convective drying evaluation. The longitudinal cut di-viding okra on four parts, sliced with 5 mm and 10 mm of thickness and the whole okra put respectively 150 min, 200 min, 280 min and 400 min for their drying. At last, three (03) different constituents of okra, namely, the skin, the seeds and central material behave differently during convective drying. The drying time of the central material, the seeds and the skin is about 70 min, 150 min and 190 min respectively, against 400 min for the whole okra. 展开更多

研究分析中药白鲜皮中挥发油类成分组成,探讨其潜在的抗菌活性成分.采用水蒸气蒸馏法提取白鲜皮中挥发油类成分,采用GC-MS联用技术对挥发油类成分进行分离和分析鉴定.从白鲜皮挥发油中分离出36个化学成分,通过质谱数据库鉴定出其中匹配... 研究分析中药白鲜皮中挥发油类成分组成,探讨其潜在的抗菌活性成分.采用水蒸气蒸馏法提取白鲜皮中挥发油类成分,采用GC-MS联用技术对挥发油类成分进行分离和分析鉴定.从白鲜皮挥发油中分离出36个化学成分,通过质谱数据库鉴定出其中匹配度高于90%的25个成分.相对含量较高的成分是烯类成分(37.84%)、醇类成分(4.06%)、芳香醚类成分(2.25%)和芳香烃类成分(2.03%).通过与文献报道比较,不同产地白鲜皮挥发油成分组成存在较大差异,其抗菌活性可能与α-蒎烯、β-蒎烯、茴香脑、麝香草酚甲醚和榄香醇等成分有关.白鲜皮挥发油中化学成分复杂,以烯类成分类成分为主,研究结果为中药白鲜皮的药效物质基础研究与质量控制评价奠定了基础. 展开更多

In this review, we summarized the recent researches of Danshen in traditional uses and preparations, chemical constituents, pharmacological activities and side effects. A total of 201 compounds from Danshen have been reported, including lipophilic diterpenoids, water-soluble phenolic acids, and other constituents, which have showed various pharmacological activities, such as anti-inflammation, anti-oxidation, anti-tumor, anti-atherogenesis, and anti-diabetes. [Objectives] To identify chemical constituents and antitumor activities of walnut green husk.[Methods] The column chromatography and recrystallization were used to isolate 13 compounds from walnut green husk, and their structures were identified by modern spectroscopy.[Results] The 13 kinds of compounds isolated from walnut green husk were identified as 3, 5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxy benzene carbonic-7-O-β-D-pyranglucose(1), myricananin F(2),β-stitosterol(3), oleanolic acid(4), regiolone(5), asiatic acid(6), hederagenin(7),β-daucosterin(8),(4 R)-4,8-dihydroxy-α-tetralone-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(9), 3β, 23-dihydroxy-urs-12-en-28-oic acid(10), ursolic acid(11), syringc acid(12), and Juglanoside B(13). Among these, compounds 1, 2, 6, 7, 9, and 10 were all isolated from this genus of plant for the first time.[Conclusions] Through screening for antitumor activity in vitro, it was found that compound 4 showed strong growth inhibitory activity against the proliferation of human hepatoma cells(HepG-2), and compound 9 had certain growth inhibitory activity against the proliferation of human breast cancer cells(MCF-7). 展开更多

Thibetanosides E-H(1-4),four new steroidal constituents including three rare sulfonates(2-4),were isolated from the roots and rhizomes of Helleborus thibetanus,together with nine known steroidal compounds(5-13).Their structures were elucidated by detailed spectroscopic analysis,including 1D and 2D NMR techniques and chemical evidence.In this study,compounds 2-13 were evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against HCT116,A549 and HepG2 tumor cell lines in vitro.Among them,compound 8(thibetanoside C)showed cytotoxicities against A549 cells(IC50 39.6±1.9μmol·L^-1)and HepG2 cells(IC50 41.5±1.1μmol·L^-1),respectively.Compound 9(23S,24S)-24-[(O-β-D-fucopyranosyl)oxy]-3β,23-dihydroxy-spirosta-5,25(27)-diene-1β-yl O-(4-O-acetyl-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-(1→2)-O-[β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→3)]-α-L-arabinopyranoside)showed cytotoxicity against HCT116 cells(IC5033.6±2.1μmol·L^-1). 展开更多

The WHO reports that billions of people and animals in tropical and subtropical regions are affected by helminthiasis as neglected tropical disease. It is predominant in underdeveloped areas;nevertheless, the increase in the number of travelers and migrants has made this infection more common. The current mass drug treatment produces severe side effects and many strains of helminths are resistant to them. None of the chemotherapeutic drugs meets the ideal requirements of anthelmintics, such as broad spectrum of activity, single dose cure, free from side effect and cost-effectiveness. Today, many researchers are screening the traditional herbal system in search of the anthelmintic herbal constituents which overcome all the problems of synthetic drugs. Several researchers proclaim anthelmintic activity of herbal medicines by using different experimental models. The present review demonstrates natural product drug discovery, outlining potential of herbal constituents from natural sources as natural leads against helminthiasis. 展开更多

Although active constituents extracted from plants show robust in vitro pharmacological effects, low in vivo absorption greatly limits the widespread application of these compounds. A strategy of using phyto-phospholipid complexes represents a promising approach to increase the oral bioavailability of active constituents, which is consist of ‘‘label-friendly'phospholipids and active constituents. Hydrogen bond interactions between active constituents and phospholipids enable phospholipid complexes as an integral part. This review provides an update on four important issues related to phyto-phospholipid complexes: active constituents, phospholipids, solvents, and stoichiometric ratios. We also discuss recent progress in research on the preparation, characterization, structural verification, and increased bioavailability of phyto-phospholipid complexes. 展开更多
