We give necessary and sufficient conditions for derivative-free three-point iterations with the eighth-order of convergence. We also establish the connection of derivative-free and derivative presence three-point iterations. The use of the sufficient convergence conditions allows us to design wide class of optimal derivative-free iterations. This article focuses on the solution r... With the widespread application of distributed systems, many problems need to be solved urgently. How to design distributed optimization strategies has become a research hotspot. This article focuses on the solution rate of the distributed convex optimization algorithm. Each agent in the network has its own convex cost function. We consider a gradient-based distributed method and use a push-pull gradient algorithm to minimize the total cost function. Inspired by the current multi-agent consensus cooperation protocol for distributed convex optimization algorithm, a distributed convex optimization algorithm with finite time convergence is proposed and studied. In the end, based on a fixed undirected distributed network topology, a fast convergent distributed cooperative learning method based on a linear parameterized neural network is proposed, which is different from the existing distributed convex optimization algorithms that can achieve exponential convergence. The algorithm can achieve finite-time convergence. The convergence of the algorithm can be guaranteed by the Lyapunov method. The corresponding simulation examples also show the effectiveness of the algorithm intuitively. Compared with other algorithms, this algorithm is competitive. 展开更多

Unconstrained local priority hysteresis switching logic is investigated, and global convergence conditions are proposed. Interannual variability of the precipitation over West Africa Sahel is analyzed based on 32 years (1979-2010) from monthly and daily database of the Global Precipitation Climatology Project (GPCP). In this region, we found that there is a link between the West Africa Monsoon (WAM) and the daily means of the precipitation in the summer, unseasonal rains can occur in the transition seasons and even in the heart of the dry season. Rainfall is the most important element for agro-pastoral activities in this region. The 850-hPa wind and wind divergence structure show a maximum convection over Mountain region (Fouta-Djalon and Mont-Cameroon) which corresponds to the high precipitation and OLR observed in these regions. The trend and empirical orthogonal function (EOF) of the precipitation are presented, including the mid-July variability of the precipitation. The dominant EOF of GPCP precipitation accounts for around 25.3% of the variance with slightly large amplitude in the north while relatively small in the equatorial band respectively. The second and third EOF which accounts for 20.5% and 14%, describes a longitudinal contrast with a zonal gradient. 展开更多

A class of general iterative methods of second order is presented and the selection of iterative parameters is discussed. The second order iterative methods behave quite similar to first order methods and the development of efficient preconditioners for solving the original linear system is a decisive factor for making the second order iterative methods superior to the first order iterative methods. Adaptive preconditioned Conjugate Gradient methods using explicit approximate preconditioners for solving efficiently large sparse systems of algebraic equations are also presented. The generalized Approximate Inverse Matrix techniques can be efficiently used in conjunction with explicit iterative schemes leading to effective composite semi-direct solution methods for solving large linear systems of algebraic equations. 展开更多

We study the single projection algorithm of Tseng for solving a variational inequality problem in a 2-uniformly convex Banach space.The underline cost function of the variational inequality is assumed to be monotone and Lipschitz continuous.A weak convergence result is obtained under reasonable assumptions on the variable step-sizes.We also give the strong convergence result for when the underline cost function is strongly monotone and Lipchitz continuous.For this strong convergence case,the proposed method does not require prior knowledge of the modulus of strong monotonicity and the Lipschitz constant of the cost function as input parameters,rather,the variable step-sizes are diminishing and non-summable.The asymptotic estimate of the convergence rate for the strong convergence case is also given.For completeness,we give another strong convergence result using the idea of Halpern iteration when the cost function is monotone and Lipschitz continuous and the variable step-sizes are bounded by the inverse of the Lipschitz constant of the cost function.Finally,we give an example of a contact problem where our proposed method can be applied. 展开更多

In order to accelerate the convergence speed of iterative learning control(ILC), taking the P-type learning algorithm as an example, a correction algorithm with kernel-based autoassociative is proposed for the linear system. The learning mechanism of human brain associative memory is introduced to the traditional ILC. The control value of the subsequent time is precorrected with the current time information by association in each iterative learning process. The learning efficiency of the whole system is improved significantly with the proposed algorithm. Through the rigorous analysis, it shows that under this new designed ILC scheme, the uniform convergence of the state tracking error is guaranteed. Numerical simulations illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed associative control scheme and the validity of the conclusion. 展开更多

Study of the Orthoptic Assessment in Refractive Eye Surgery 认领

Purpose: The aim of our study was to assess the variations in fusion and stereopsis before and after refractive surgery. Methods: We conducted a retrospective study. 140 patients (78 M, 62 F) were selected, aged 20 - 59 years (mean age 36 ± 10 DS). All patients received a comprehensive ophtalmological and orthoptic examination. Surgery was performed using a MEL-80 excimer laser (Carl Zeiss Meditec, Jena, Germany). Results: Fusional convergence amplitudes after refractive eye surgery range from at near 18 - 20 PD in 42 (30%) patients;25 - 30 PD in 56 (40%) patients;35 - 40 PD in 42 (30%) patients, at far 20 - 25 PD in 84 (60%) patients;30 - 40 PD in 56 (40%) patients, fusional divergence at near after refractive eye surgery range from at near 6 - 8 PD in 108 (75.7%) patients;10 - 12 PD in 52 (37.1%), at far 6 - 8 PD in 126 (90%) patients;10 - 12 PD in 14 (10%) patients. None of the patients developed any ocular deviations. NCP, on average, decreases from 9.4 ± 1.5 cm to 9.1 ± 0.9 cm after. None of these patients with a normal NCP before surgery developed an abnormal NCP after refractive surgery. Eighteen patients (12.8%) had a stereopsis higher than 60 s of arch before surgical intervention. Of these, in 2 cases (2.8%) stereopsis increased from 200 to 40 s of arch after surgery. In the rest of patients stereopsis remained unchanged. Conclusion: The increase in fusion at near appears to be considerably interesting, whereas there is no worsening of stereopsis. A careful pre-surgery orthoptic evaluation is extremely revelant for a safe refractive surgery, this reducing the risk of complications associated with fusion and stereopsis. 展开更多

针对挖掘机器人执行机构的运动学逆解求解难、速度慢的问题,提出一种基于APSO-LM-BP神经网络的逆运动学求解方法。利用自适应粒子群(APSO)算法对BP神经网络中的连接权值以及阈值进行优化,再把BP神经网络训练过程中的梯度下降法用LM算法... 针对挖掘机器人执行机构的运动学逆解求解难、速度慢的问题,提出一种基于APSO-LM-BP神经网络的逆运动学求解方法。利用自适应粒子群(APSO)算法对BP神经网络中的连接权值以及阈值进行优化,再把BP神经网络训练过程中的梯度下降法用LM算法代替,以克服传统BP神经网络的输出误差大,陷入局部极优解的缺陷。仿真结果表明,与传统BP神经网络相比,APSO-LM-BP神经网络输出误差大大降低,训练时间更短,改善了算法的收敛精度和收敛速度,且满足挖掘机器人运动学逆解要求。该方法可以推广至任意自由度串联机器人的逆运动学求解,具有较强的实用性。 展开更多

The iterative Monte Carlo(MC)code EMC3-EIRENE is frequently used for plasma edge simulations in 3 D applications.So far,a quantitative evaluation of the numerical quality of the code results remains an open issue.In this paper,we demonstrate a framework for the practical assessment of accuracy and convergence with EMC3-EIRENE.Moreover,we provide a first accuracy analysis with EMC3-EIRENE for a DIII-D divertor edge plasma case.First,we introduce post-processing averaging to efficiently reduce the variance of the statistical error.Then,we estimate the deterministic error contributions based on their theoretical reduction rates by comparing solutions with a different grid resolution,time step,or number of MC particles per iteration.Finally,using parameterized expressions for the error and the computational time,suitable numerical parameters are determined to achieve faster and/or more accurate results.We found that simulations can be more than twice as fast without losing accuracy by making use of post-processing averaging and choosing optimal parameters.In addition,we conclude that the discretization error is the dominant error contribution for the case selected in this paper,which demonstrates the importance of constructing an adequate mesh. 展开更多

This paper proposes a synchronous parallel block coordinate descent algorithm for minimizing a composite function,which consists of a smooth convex function plus a non-smooth but separable convex function.Due to the generalization of the proposed method,some existing synchronous parallel algorithms can be considered as special cases.To tackle high dimensional problems,the authors further develop a randomized variant,which randomly update some blocks of coordinates at each round of computation.Both proposed parallel algorithms are proven to have sub-linear convergence rate under rather mild assumptions.The numerical experiments on solving the large scale regularized logistic regression with 1 norm penalty show that the implementation is quite efficient.The authors conclude with explanation on the observed experimental results and discussion on the potential improvements. 展开更多

Using stochastic control and the weak convergence approach, we prove the Laplace principle,which is equivalent to the large deviation principle in our framework. Instead of assuming compactness of the embedding in the corresponding Gelfand triple or finite dimensional approximation of the diffusion coefficient in some existing works, we only assume some temporal regularity in the diffusion coefficient. 展开更多
