Preparation of 3D ordered mesoporous anatase TiO2 and their photocatalytic activity

Ordered crystalline mesoporous anatase titanium dioxides with different amounts of rutile were prepared by hard-template approaches using mesoporous silica(KIT-6)as the template.The resulting mesoporous materials were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD),transmission electron microscope(TEM),N2 adsorption and Raman spectroscopy.All mesoporous TiO2 has three-dimensional(3D)ordered mesostructures with large Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET)surface area and narrow pore size distribution(ca.5 nm).It was found that the level of rutile phase in the mesoporous titanium oxide was related to the SO4^2-concentration in the starting materials.Their photocatalytic hydrogen production was evaluated and compared.It is found that low rutile content is beneficial for a high catalytic activity.All samples demonstrate a better activity than commercial P25. 展开更多

Phenolic compounds and their derivatives have been found in industrial wastewater, which pose threats to the natural environment. Ordered mesoporous carbon(OMC) has been identified as an ideal adsorbent possessing high specific surface area and large pore volume to alleviate these pollutants. A novel ordered mesoporous carbon was prepared using COK-19 template with the cubic Fm3 m structure for the first time. Ordered mesoporous silica COK-19 was synthesized and reported in 2015. Sucrose as the carbon precursor was impregnated into the mesopores of silica and converted to carbon through carbonization process using sulfuric acid as a catalyst. Ordered mesoporous carbon was obtained after the removal of silica framework using hydrofluoric acid. Boric acid was employed for the preparation of OMCs with tunable pore sizes in the range of 6.9–16.6 nm. Several characterization techniques such as nitrogen adsorption–desorption isotherms, transmission electron microscope(TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Boehm titration and elemental analysis were employed to characterize the OMCs. The pore size analysis and TEM images confirmed that OMC has replicated the mesostructure of the COK-19. Results obtained from adsorption kinetics and isotherms suggest that the Pseudo-second-order model and Langmuir isotherm well described the experimental data. 展开更多

The urge nt expectati on of the n ext-ge neratio n en ergy storage devices for electric vehicles has drive n researchers'atte ntion to the lithium-oxyge n(Li-O2)batteries due to the satisfied specific energy density.Herein,spatially-controlled CO3O4 nanoflake arrays with three-dimensional networked morphology are adopted as flexible and self-sta nding oxyge n cathodes in L1-O2 batteries.The spin el-phase CO3O4 nano flakes were con verted from two dimensi on metal-orga nic frameworks with abundant available cha nnels and large specific surface area.The open-structure nano flake arrays possess sufficie nt Li2O2/cathode contact interface,great bifunctional catalytic performa nee and adequate Li2O2 accommodation,leading to the enhanced electrochemical performanee of the L1-O2 batteries.As expected,the binder-free porous CO3O4/CT cathode delivers a high capacity of 6,509 mAh·g^-1(200 mA·g^-1)and enhanced stability over 100 cycles(limited by 1,000 mAh·g^-1).In additi on,pouch-type Li-O2 batteries were successfully desig ned and cycled with CO3O4/CT cathode as oxyge n electrodes,dem on strating its potential application for flexible electronics and wearable energy storage devices. 展开更多

This study aims to investigate the leaching behavior and filtration performance of zinc refinery residue under hydrothermal conditions.The relationships between the structure and morphology of silicon in the leaching residue and the pulp filtration performance were explored by determining the pulp filtration speed,analyzing quantitatively the silicon content in the leachate,and characterizing the leaching residue structure.The results show that hydrothermal leaching induces the coagulation–hydrolysis of the silicon in solution,consequently altering the microstructure of the leaching residue,and that silicon oxygen tetrahedra([SiO4]^4-)form the main skeleton structure of the residue.The results obtained also show that the leaching rates of zinc and copper are 98.1%and 98.7%,respectively,and that the filtration speed is 526.32 L/(m^2·h)under the conditions of sulfuric acid concentration of 140 g/L,leaching temperature of 160℃,leaching time of 3.0 h,oxygen partial pressure of 0.75 MPa,stirring speed of 600 r/min,and a liquid-to-solid ratio of 10 mL/g. 展开更多

高介孔体积油茶壳活性炭的制备工艺研究 预览

以生物质油茶壳为原料,氯化锌为活化剂,探讨活化温度、氯化锌与油茶壳的浸渍比、油茶壳颗粒大小对制备的活性炭的比表面积、孔体积和介孔体积的影响规律,并对活性炭的组织结构、形貌、石墨化程度及表面化学成分进行了分析。结果表明,在... 以生物质油茶壳为原料,氯化锌为活化剂,探讨活化温度、氯化锌与油茶壳的浸渍比、油茶壳颗粒大小对制备的活性炭的比表面积、孔体积和介孔体积的影响规律,并对活性炭的组织结构、形貌、石墨化程度及表面化学成分进行了分析。结果表明,在考察的活化温度(T=500℃~800℃)范围内,活化温度对活性炭的比表面积和孔体积具有较大的影响,对孔径影响较小;在500℃时制备的活性炭具有较高的高比表面积和孔体积,活化温度越高,活性炭的比表面积和孔体积越小;氯化锌与油茶壳浸渍比为1时,制备的活性炭为微孔体系,当浸渍比为4时,活性炭具有较高的比表面积和最大的孔体积,其比表面积和孔体积分别为1890m^2·g^-1和2.42cm^3·g^-1,介孔体积占总体积的83.06%;在考察的油茶壳颗粒尺寸范围内,油茶壳原料颗粒的粒径对活性炭的组织结构影响较小。表面形貌和化学组成分析结果表明,活性炭表面由菜花状的小颗粒堆积而成,相互贯通的蠕虫状孔结构构成其孔隙结构,其表面含有一定数量的醚基、羰基、酚羟基及羧基等含氧官能团。 展开更多

Herein, a MoO2-ordered mesoporous carbon (M-OMC)hybrid was designed as the sulfur host, in which MoO2 is inlaid on the surface of ordered mesoporous carbons that can store active materials and provide fast electron transfer channel due to its ordered pore structure. 采用水热合成的方法制备了高比表面积介孔α-FeOOH吸附剂,并探究其对水中Sb(Ⅴ)的去除效果。采用XRD、SEM、ATR-FTIR等方法对吸附剂进行了表征。考察了吸附剂投加量、溶液pH对Sb(Ⅴ)去除效果的影响,以及Sb(Ⅴ)吸附过程的动力学和热力学... 采用水热合成的方法制备了高比表面积介孔α-FeOOH吸附剂,并探究其对水中Sb(Ⅴ)的去除效果。采用XRD、SEM、ATR-FTIR等方法对吸附剂进行了表征。考察了吸附剂投加量、溶液pH对Sb(Ⅴ)去除效果的影响,以及Sb(Ⅴ)吸附过程的动力学和热力学特性。表征结果显示:介孔α-FeOOH具有棒状结构,长度大约为50~100nm,最可几孔径为20nm,比表面积为137.6m2/g。实验结果表明,当初始Sb(Ⅴ)质量浓度为10mg/L、pH为7、介孔α-FeOOH投加量为0.25g/L、吸附时间为2h、吸附温度为25℃时,Sb(Ⅴ)去除率可达100%;pH为4~7时,Sb(Ⅴ)去除率受pH的影响较弱;Sb(Ⅴ)吸附过程符合拟二级动力学模型及Langmuir吸附模型。 展开更多

Conversion of Malaysian low-rank coal to mesoporous activated carbon:Structure characterization and adsorption properties

Malaysian Selantik low-rank coal(SC)was used as a precursor to prepare a form of mesoporous activated carbon(SC-AC)with greater surface area(SA)via a microwave induced KOH-activation method.The characteristics of the SC and SC-AC were evaluated by the iodine number,ash content,bulk density,and moisture content The structure and surface characterization was carried out using pore structure analysis(BET),scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(SEM-EDX),X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR),elemental analysis(CHNS),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),and determination of the point of zero charge(pH(PZC)).These results signify a mesoporous structure of SC-AC with an increase of ca.1160 times(BET SA=1094.3 m^2·g^-1)as compared with raw SC without activation(BET SA=1.23 m^2·g^-1).The adsorptive properties of the SC-AC with methylene blue(MB)was carried out at variable adsorbent dose(0.2-1.6 g·L^-1),solution pH(2-12),initial MB concentrations(25-400 mg·L^-1),and contact time(0-290 min)using batch mode operation.The kinetic profiles follow pseudo-second order kinetics and the equilibrium uptake of MB conforms to the Langmuir model with a maximum monolayer adsorption capacity of 491.7 mg g^-1 at 303 K.Thermodynamic functions revealed a spontaneous endothermic adsorption process.The mechanism of adsorption included mainly electrostatic attractions,hydrogen bonding interaction,andπ-πstacking interaction.This work shows that Malaysian Selantik low-rank coal is a promising precursor for the production of low-cost and efficient mesoporous activated carbon with substantive surface area. 展开更多

In this work,HY zeolites were embedded in the ordered mesoporous carbon(OMC)to prepare a support for a noble metal catalyst Pt/OMC-HY,and the hydrogenation of naphthalene to decalin was carried out over the catalyst.The results showed that Pt/OMC-HY-0.14(in which the mass ratio of HY to phenolic resin oligomer is 0.14)possessed much better catalyst performance than Pt/OMC,which was related to its proper surface acidity,hierarchical pore structure,metal dispersion,and the interaction between metal and support.Furthermore,Pt/OMC-HY-0.14 had better sulfur tolerance than Pt/OMC.In addition,the sulfur tolerance mechanism of Pt/OMC-HY-0.14 was studied,which revealed that the competitive adsorption of DBT on the metal sites with aromatics was the main reason for catalyst deactivation,and the improvement of sulfur tolerance could be achieved by the aid of the acidity of HY zeolite.Based on the acidity,the hydrogenation of DBT can be promoted obviously,and consequently the competitive adsorption of DBT on the metal sites can be reduced. 展开更多

磷改性HZSM-5分子筛对甲醇制汽油催化反应性能的影响 预览

Photocatalytic solar energy conversion to hydrogen is sustainable and attractive for addressing the global energy and environmental issue. Herein, a novel photocatalytic system (NiS/Ni3S4 cocatalysts modified mesoporous TiO2) with superior photocatalytic hydrogen evolution capability through the synergistic impact of NiS/Ni3S4 (NiSx) cocatalyst and efficient hole scavenger has been demonstrated. The photocatalytic hydrogen evolution of TiO2-NiSx hybrids with the different content of NiSx and upon different organic hole scavengers was both investigated. The hybrid of TiO2 decorated with 3%(mole ratio of Ni^2+) NiSx cocatalyst in methanol solution showed the optimal photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate of 981.59 μmol h^-1 g^-1 which was about 20 times higher than that of bare mesoporous TiO2. Our results suggested that the boosted hydrogen production performance is attributed to both the improved photoinduced electrons migration between NiS and Ni3S4 in cocatalyst and the high hole captured efficiency by hole scavengers of methanol. 展开更多

Herein, we demonstrate that silica films with perpendicular macroporous channels and accessible ordered mesopores can be conveniently prepared. The hierarchical macroporous–mesoporous silica films are synthesized by using zinc oxide nanorod array as macroporous template and CTAB surfactant as mesoporous template. In basic surfactant-containing solution, ordered mesoporous silica shells homogeneously grow on the zinc oxide nanorod array. The growth of the mesostructures do not require any chemical modification for the zinc oxide nanorod, which opens a new way for preparing hierarchical silica films with perpendicular mesochannels. The prepared hierarchical macroporous–mesoporous silica films possess a uniform thickness of 2μm, large perpendicular macropores with a length of 1.8μm and a width of 80 nm, and accessible ordered mesopores. Separation experiment demonstrates that this macroporous–mesoporous film can effectively separate biomolecules with different sizes. 展开更多

开发兼具高催化活性和优良流体力学与传质性能的催化剂对发展高效水处理臭氧氧化技术具有重要意义.本研究开发了以廉价无机金属盐为原料的前驱体溶胶预混-海藻酸水凝胶球模板法,实现了Ce-Ti双金属氧化物介孔毫米球催化剂的经济制备.通... 开发兼具高催化活性和优良流体力学与传质性能的催化剂对发展高效水处理臭氧氧化技术具有重要意义.本研究开发了以廉价无机金属盐为原料的前驱体溶胶预混-海藻酸水凝胶球模板法,实现了Ce-Ti双金属氧化物介孔毫米球催化剂的经济制备.通过N2吸附-脱附、XRD、XPS、SEM-EDS、TEM-SAED、拉曼光谱、NH3-TPD等手段对制备的催化剂进行系统表征,考察Ce/Ti摩尔比和煅烧温度对催化剂结构和催化活性的影响,探究其催化臭氧氧化的特性与机理.结果表明无定形材料催化活性高于晶型材料,催化活性与表面酸性位点密度呈正相关,阐明了羟基自由基为该材料催化臭氧氧化的主要活性物种.优选的Ce0.5Ti0.5O2介孔毫米球具有高比表面积(199 m^2g^–1)、适宜的介孔结构(平均孔径3.59 nm),富含Ce–O–Ti键活性位点,催化臭氧氧化活性高,可在90 min内将100 mg L^–1草酸几乎完全矿化(99%),连续5轮重复实验后催化活性无明显降低,呈现出优异的催化稳定性.另外, Ce0.5Ti0.5O2介孔毫米球催化臭氧氧化降解双氯芬酸等四种污染物的矿化率相比无催化剂臭氧氧化提高18.7%~54.0%,展现出优良的应用前景. 展开更多

采用KD-1型煤基吸附剂利用吸附法处理吡啶模拟废水,探讨了投加量、研磨、处理时间以及复用效果等因素。并利用XRD、BET、FTIR、SEM等表征方法对其进行了表征。结果表明,采用+0.074 mm研磨后的KD-1吸附剂,投加量为60 g/L,处理时间为30 m... 采用KD-1型煤基吸附剂利用吸附法处理吡啶模拟废水,探讨了投加量、研磨、处理时间以及复用效果等因素。并利用XRD、BET、FTIR、SEM等表征方法对其进行了表征。结果表明,采用+0.074 mm研磨后的KD-1吸附剂,投加量为60 g/L,处理时间为30 min,其对吡啶的去除率为85.20%。并采用573 K,热处理180 min,进行复用,复用10次后,其去除率由72.18%降低至52.56%,累积减重为10.08%。并采用Langmuir模型、Freundlich模型和Temkin模型线性拟合,结果表明KD-1吸附剂对吡啶的吸附符合Freundlich公式,并确定了公式参数。 展开更多

Tran sition metal sulfides(TMSs)have a wide range of applications owing to their in trigui ng properties.Sign ifica nt efforts have bee n devoted to nanostructuring TMSs to enhance their properties and performanee,still there is a high need in general synthesis of TMS nanostructures.Herein,for the first time,a simple solve nt free reactive nano casti ng approach that integrates solid precursor loadi ng,in-situ sulfurati on and carbonization into a single heati ng step is developed for the un iversal syn thesis of ordered mesoporous TMS@N-doped carb on composites(denoted as OM-TMS@NCs)with methionine(Met)and metal chlorides as the precursors and the mesoporous silica(SBA-15)as the hard template.A series of OM-TMS@NCs with a hexagonal mesostructure,ultra-high surface areas(430-754 m^2·g^-1),large pore volumes(0.85-1.32 cm^3·g^-1),and unique TMS stoichiometries,including MoS2,Fe7S8,Co9S8,NiS,Cu7S4 and ZnS,are obtained.Two distinct structure con figurati ons,n amely,highly dispersed ultrathin TMS nano sheets within NCs and TMS@NC 8?nan owire arrays,can be obtai ned depe nding on differe nt metals.The structure evoluti on of the OM-TMS@NCs over the solve nt-free nano casting process is studied in detail for a deep un dersta nding of the syn thesis.As dem on strati ons,these materials are promising for electrocatalytic hydroge n evolutio n reacti on and lithium ion storage with high performances. 展开更多

With the development of the human economy and green chemistry, people pay much more attention to environmental safety. Correspondingly, mesoporous TiO2 and its correlated photocatalysts are able to help people seek for better life. In this review, first of all, we briefly introduce the preparations and applications of mesoporous TiO2-SiO2 materials, which exhibit excellent performance in pollutants decomposition and H2 evolution in photocatalysis. Then, we review the mesoporous composites of TiSiO2 materials, which are ideal materials used in the photoreduction of air pollutants such as CO2, NO and NO2. It is powerfully evident from the literature surveys that these TiO2 based mesoporous photocatalysts possess a large potential in environment and energy development. 展开更多
